Small Break

:3 Even though I just started writing in my Blog, I will be going on a break. It’s primarily going to be so that I will only be writing things for my journal from 11PM – 2AM, since I am working on a large fanfic… So I will be back in a couple of days officially. Sayonara!

Heh, heh… I was a little busy with something else, and it took me till nearly 2 AM to get this out… :3 I’ll probably hold off on Bokura no Love Style till tomorrow, along with Tsumetai Yori Lyrics.

All of the notes that I placed on the Hiragana version of this song apply to this version as well.

Rolling star

Hiragana: Rolling star
Katakana: Rolling star
English: Rolling star

Vocals By: YUI

o.0; New for me to immediately start up with a PV, but I just can’t resist this song. This is currently one of YUI’s unreleased songs, on her upcoming single, “Rolling star”; it’s supposed to be released on the 17th of January, next year.

Apparently, this song is going to be used as the theme for “Bleach” (unless, of course, it’s already being used as it). For one thing, I haven’t watch any of Bleach’s other theme songs, nor the anime itself, so that’s another thing I need to do once I can afford myself a break from the back up of translations to Hiragana and Katakana. Apparently, all of the other theme songs for Bleach have been fast moving, and when you think of YUI, you probably wouldn’t have thought of her playing rock.

Well, this song, and PV, proves that deep down, there is someone that wants to be heard, and makes it happen through this song. Of course, my frantic searching around the internet has found me “nil” with romaji lyrics, which means I’m willing to give someone the chance to use me in translating lyrics into Katakana and Hiragana (as long as you provide the romaji), if they can translate the lyrics I found for “Rolling star” on YUI’s website. Of course, if that doesn’t work, just head here and click the “Song Lyrics” button on the bottom; I really need those lyrics in romaji, so please help!

Also, putting the lyrics into English will help me describe her feelings… *hinthintnudgenudge*

Note: Can’t get the Kata or Hira lyrics until I get the romaji lyrics… -.-;

Finally! It took me to nearly 10 PM to get all of that translated (well, that includes me trying to be active on Pe2K, having Lunch and Dinner, going to Karate, and taking care of my dog, as well as me waking up at noon.. T_T). I will probably get up the Katakana by midnight, and the two music reviews by 1 AM, tomorrow… ^^; Still, I should have mostly everything on the list I made, done by, the latest, 2 AM.

Now, note that I didn’t put in any spaces, as well as that I removed most punctuation, besides commas (,) and exclamation points (!); so, Usa-chan, became Usachan in the translation. Also, since I figured out that there was such things as capitalized Hiragana, all of the translation is done in lowercase, just to make my life easier… -.-; Well, I am off to translate DokiDoki into Katakana… :3

Another thing is that I used the small “tsu” (っ) when it came to double consonants that I wasn’t too sure what to use for them… if someone could help me by saying that I did it right, or if there is another symbol I can use, let me know through comments…

LIFE

December 4, 2006 at 10:49 am | Posted in Music Reviews | 1 Comment

Hiragana: LIFE
Katakana: LIFE
English: LIFE

Vocals By: YUI

LIFE is an awesome song. It explains how YUI feels about moving so far away from her mom and feels that she conflicted her mother-daughter relationship. Being one of the people who actually enjoys doing so, the Japanese lyrics sound nice, and they match the song, and the beat it holds, though at certain parts it seems she’s slightly rushed. The Japanese Romanji lyrics are located here while the English lyrics can be found here. Singing this song in Romanji doesn’t seem that hard for me, though trying to mask the Japanese and singing in English is fairly hard.

The music video for LIFE is nice, showing clips of the city (I’m thinking it’s Tokyo), along with her playing her Acoustic Guitar. All of the clips have some meaning to the words of the song, and she presses out what she needs to. The music video can be found here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uMOCLUA9aT0

The PV of LIFE is just so amazing. Also, I think the song talks about allowing YUI the time to adjust to how different Tokyo is than Fukouka. The images of the sun that appear at certain parts of the PV are there because in the English Lyrics, there should be something that does deal with it. Finally, I have decided to let you know of what I am going to be doing for the next entry. The clue to it will be the following image:
The hint for my next entry

Well, I have to go now so Sayonara!

Notes: I will start the work on these after Tsumetai Yoru. I just hope that I don’t clog myself up with work.

Tsumetai Yoru

December 3, 2006 at 10:10 am | Posted in Music Reviews | Leave a comment

Hiragana: つめたい よる
Katakana: ツメタイ ヨル
English: Cold Night

Vocals By: Ootori Kyoya | おとり きょや | オトリ キョヤ | Kyouya Ohtori
Seiyu: Matsukaze Masaya | まつかぜ まさや | マツカゼ マサヤ | Masaya Matsukaze

Calm and wonderfully played, Kyoya’s seiyu, Matsukaze-san, definitely speaks hows Kyoya feels for a certain someone. The Junior’s feelings are elaborated into an excellent reason why Kyoya never tries smiling or laughing, unless it deals with a deal (“threat!”) or something alike. The lyrics for this song are posted here. When, and if, you try singing Tsumetai Yoru, you’ll notice that you can easily get through each part without having problems trying to memorize certain words and such, like DokiDoki☆WakuWaku ♪.

I’ve found a small AMV that looks appropriate for this song. Some parts of the AMV seem slightly fast for the song, but I’m fairly sure that the creator of it, Byakuyafan1, put alot of effort into making it fit. The AMV is located here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cRSw6-FX8E8

Such a wonderful song, even if Kyoya’s Seiyu is thirty (clearly had background facts… >D). Byukayafan1 made this AMV excellently, though he needs to fix the credits. Overall, this song is excellent, and I think anyone who likes this type of song would overlove it. ^^

Notes: I will be working on the Hiragana and Katakana Lyrics as soon as I finish up on the DokiDoki☆WakuWaku♪ Hiragana and Katakana Lyrics. :3

DokiDoki☆WakuWaku♪

December 3, 2006 at 5:12 am | Posted in Music Reviews | Leave a comment

Hiragana: どき どき わく わく
Katakana: ドキ ドキ ワク ワク
English: Heart-Pounding☆Exciting♪

Vocals By: Mitsukuni Haninozuka | みつくに はにのずか | ミツクニ ハニノズカ | Haninozuka Mitsukuni
Seiyu: Saitou Ayaka | さいとう あやか | サイトウ アヤカ | Ayaka Saitou

As fast and hyper as Hani himself, this song sets you in the frame of mind that this hyper active Senior is in. The fast tempo causes some of the words to run together, making certain words hard to understand, even though the lyrics can be found here. Now, if you try singing this, listen to it a couple of times, and figure out where and when certain parts become hard to say so you can make sure you know the words.

Another thing is that I am going to be working on trying to make an AMV for this song, expressing what Hani states in this song. I have found one AMV that uses this song, and it’s awesome, though certain parts it looks like it’s off-timing to the beat by a couple of seconds. It’s located here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ic_vdYIgJJU

So kawaii! (かわいい | カワイイ) *blushes* Neko did such a good job putting together that video, making the episode clips work so well with DokiDoki☆WakuWaku♪. Go Neko!

Rating of song: 10/10 ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

Notes: I will be working on translating the Romanji Lyrics into Hiragana and Katakana so that those who go want to learn to read those two can try with DokiDoki☆WakuWaku♪
